No you didn't miss an issue – we promise. After re-evaluating our printing schedule and talking to many of our advertisers, which is how we are able to provide Journey to you, it became obvious that we should adjust our distribution dates. This issue, August/September, will be followed by the October/November issue and then the December/January issue. We feel this provides us a better opportunity to be more seasonal and is more in sync with our advertisers as well as with upcoming editorial topics. It's been a full two years now for Journey and we're thrilled that we've been able to continue to provide this publication for your enjoyment. Please keep all of the great e-mails and kudos coming. As we hear from you, we count our many blessings that each of you who love Journey have the same desire that the two of us do – to showcase the incredible women in our area! Thanks for coming on the Journey.

P.S. We are proud to announce that Sierra Mae Hardy joined us April 22, 2008, at 6:19 a.m. and was the inspiration for this issue’s cover quote. We hope you are doing something that makes you smile each morning, and we’d love to hear about it!
We felt the need for a first-class publication about the everyday woman in Fort Collins who does incredible things on a daily basis with few knowing the details - we discovered the niche was unclaimed. Connie Hanrahan has successfully marketed businesses for over 20 years in the Fort Collins area and decided to create a product targeted 100 percent at women for women and about women. Carmen Ruyle Hardy has over 10 years experience as a graphic designer in the Fort Collins area and didn't hesitate to jump on board!
